Dariusz Szymańczak

Bass guitarist born in Warsaw. He started his professional musical career in the early 1980s at the Musical Theater in Targówek, then he collaborated with the „Big Warsaw Band”, the Polish Radio-Andrzej Trzaskowski Orchestra and the leading Polish vocalists, including: Ewa Bem, Andrzej Zaucha, Grażyna Łobaszewska and Danuta Błażejczyk. In the 90s he was a member of the Loud Jazz Band „Carlos” Kaczmarczyk, Maryla Rodowicz band and the Buffo Theater. From 2000, as a sideman, he participated in numerous projects by Marek Stefankiewicz, Wojciech Zieliński and Wojciech Gogolewski Trio. From 2010, he participated in the projects of Lora Szafran – „Only Chopin”, „Droga Do Ciebie” (Wasowski / Przybora), „Secrets of Life by Leonard Cohen”, „Nad Ranem”, „Chopin Podcieniu” (Wojtek Gogolewski Trio & Lora Szafran).
