Tomasz Kupiec

Double bass player, bass guitarist, composer, arranger, music producer. A graduate of the Jazz and Popular Music Department of the Academy of Music in Katowice. A long-time collaborator in the formation of guitarist Jarek Śmietana. Member of the international group Nigel Kennedy, with whom he has performed in the largest concert halls on almost all continents, including the Royal Albert Hall in London, Sydney Opera House, Berliner Philharmonic and during exceptional events, such as a performance for the British Royal Family in Windsor or during the Australian finals. Open 2017 in Melbourne.
He also collaborated with Janusz Muniak, the Wojtek Groborz Trio, Zbigniew Namysłowski (Namysłowski-Śmietana Band), Marek Bałata as well as with Scott Hammilton, Karen Edwards, Jean Luc Ponty and the legendary Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant.
Also engaged by popular music artists, including Renata Przemyk, Irek Dudek. He is currently a member of Andrzej Sikorowski’s band. He has over 60 released albums to his credit.
