Grzegorz Motyka

Founder and Artistic Director of the Krakow School of Jazz and Contemporary Music. A graduate of the Academy of Music in Krakow – Faculty of Music Education. Winner of the Main Instrumental Award at the Jazz Juniors 86 Jazz Festival. He collaborated with the swing Big Band PLAYING FAMILY as well as with the Krakow Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Krzysztof Penderecki. He conducted classes in the guitar class at the International Jazz Workshops in Chodzież, Puławy and Krakow. Currently, he is involved in jazz education and runs his own jazz groups.
