Karim Martusewicz

Bassist, composer, arranger, producer. A graduate of the Jazz Department of Universitat fur Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Graz (Austria) in the double bass class. During his studies, he met Austrian musicians, with whom he created funk-jazz groups, giving concerts at jazz festivals all over Europe. Karim Martusewicz, together with famous Polish musicians, creates projects combining improvised music, based on a professional jazz workshop, with popular genres of music of the young generation. He collaborated with the Virtual Jazz Reality band, and currently plays in Wojciech Waglewski’s band – Voo Voo. He is the author of music for theater performances and television recordings, in which he often takes part.
